Membership

Membership of the Australian Early Medieval Association is open to anyone with an interest in early medieval studies. The early medieval period is broadly defined, ranging in time from the late Roman Empire to the Norman Conquest and beyond and encompassing regions from Byzantium and the Middle East to Iceland and Britain (roughly 400 CE to 1100 CE).

All individual members receive a copy of the Journal of the Australian Early Medieval Association (JAEMA), a regular electronic Newsletter, and reduced AEMA conference registration fees. Postgraduates and Early Career Researchers may also be eligible for prizes and bursaries offered at the time of AEMA conferences.

AEMA membership fees are payable on joining the Association and are valid until the end of calendar, that is 31 December.

Payments can be made via PayPal below . If you are unable to use PayPal, or wish to make alternate arrangements for payment, please email membership@aema.net.au for more information.
